Welcome to Mountainside Coffee and Tea! We’re a web store dedicated to bringing you the finest coffees and teas at  reasonable prices. 

The following are answers to some questions our customers frequently ask. We hope you find this information helpful.

Please know you can always Contact Us using the form on this website or call our main office at 866-613-4512 from Monday through Friday during regular business hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST).

How quickly is my order shipped?

We promise to ship your order within three working days. Many orders are shipped same day, but not all. Why? 

It’s simple. We don’t stockpile packaged products in our warehouse. We fill each order individually. We grind and package as soon as we receive your order. That way we know you’ll receive only the freshest coffees and teas.

What is your return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with your coffee or tea purchase from Mountainside coffee & Tea for any reason, please contact us at: :customerservice@mountainsidecoffee.com  within 10 days of receiving your delivery. In your initial inquiry, please include your name, order ID, the items you would like to return or replace and the reason for the return or replacement.

Please allow 3 business days for us to review your return inquiry. If you qualify for a return or replacement, a representative will provide you with instructions on how to return your unused item(s) in order to receive a refund or replacement.

To receive a full refund, all unused product(s) must be returned, unopened and in the original packaging, at the customer’s expense. Please include your original order ID in the return shipment, which allows us to recognize your return when it arrives at our facility.

Once a return shipment has been received, inspected and approved, we will contact you via email and issue a full refund for the returned items minus any  promotional codes or coupons that were used at the time of purchase. All refunds are exclusive of shipping costs, which are non-refundable. All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used at the time of purchase.

A refund may be possible for damaged goods that are reported to us within 5 days of receipt. Please call our customer service representatives at 866-613-4512 or email us at: customerservice@mountainsidecoffee.com.

Do you offer FREE shipping?

Shipping is free on all orders over $36.00.

Are your samples refundable?

Yes samples are refundable, including shipping and handling, when you buy two regularly priced (does not include any coupon, discount, or promotional items) coffees or teas. Limited to two refundable samples.

What payments do you accept?

We are pleased to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit or debit cards. Payments are secure.

From where do you ship?

All our  work and shipping originates from our headquarters in Petersburg, Pennsylvania. We purchase our coffees and teas from around the world, but all production and processing is here in the heart of the United States. Be sure to take a look at our How We Do It Videos on this web site to see our coffee roasting and packaging set to music.

What carrier do you use for shipping?

Mountainside Coffee and Tea ships via the United States Postal Service. The shipping cost will appear in our shopping cart during the check-out process.

 

Can I track the shipping of the coffee and tea I purchase?

Sure! When you make your purchase and check-out, you’ll receive a tracking number. Go to www.usps.com and follow the instructions to enter that tracking number and see where your package is. The US Postal Service’s website will generate a projected delivery day for you.

How can I speak to you direct?

We love to talk to our customers. Don’t hesitate to call our customer service representatives at 866-613-4512. We are available Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST.

How can I learn about Mountainside special offers?

We post all our current specials right on the home page of the website. 

When you make your first purchase, we will send you an email asking  if you’d like to receive periodic e-mails about our  special promotions. If you say “yes,” we will email  information to you on a regular basis which you can unsubscribe from whenever you wish.

Do you offer samples?

Yes! We’re delighted to let you experience some of our other products. All orders for single cup packs, ground coffee or loose leaf tea will get you enough of a sample to let you determine if you like the taste of  that coffee or tea. Samples are limited to one  per sample order. The sample is free with a modest shipping and handling cost which is redeemable with either two purchases of 12 oz bags of regularly priced coffee or two orders of regularly priced packages of 12 K-Cups of coffee or tea.

Do you charge sales tax?

There is no tax charged on either Mountainside Coffee or Tea.

How can I tell if your Coffee or Tea is Fresh?

We promise that the coffees and teas we send to you are fresh! All Mountainside products are stamped with a “best if used by” date.

What shelf life can I expect once I open the packaging for Mountainside Coffees and Teas?

We  believe all Mountainside coffees and teas can be at peak freshness and taste for as long as all products are stored properly and used following the stamped “Best if used by” date.

What is the correct way to store coffee and tea?

The best storage is in our original foil bag closed tightly or in an airtight container away from heat and light. A dark, cool place helps insure freshness.

Should I freeze Coffee or Tea?

Absolutely not! Coffee stored in a freezer can generate frost, and what is frost but frozen water. When defrosting happens, that water can cause damage. All coffee and tea will be adversely affected if frozen.

Is Mountainside Coffee and Tea considered Gourmet?

Absolutely, yes, but we’ll let you be the judge. Our importers bring us product from around the world. We try to find the  finest coffees and teas that will please our customers’ palates. Try our selections and tell us what you think!

How can you offer such great prices?

It’s simple. We believe that if we offer excellent products at affordable prices, we will be successful.

What coffee machines will work with your single-cup packs?

Our single-cup packs are made to fit in almost all of today’s popular coffee machines. For example, our cups are compatible with all Keurig machines except for the VUE or 2.0.

Our Mountainside single-cup packs also fit Mr. Coffee, Hamilton Beach, Cuisinart, Breville, Bunn, my café, Grind Master, Real Cup  and Remington Coffeemakers. Even more brands are being added as time goes on!

What happens if an item is out-of-stock?

Sometimes international circumstances or weather anomalies occur that are out of our control. If that happens, we will e-mail you and ask for instructions on shipping.
